Just look at this map.

Pink pins: the sites of planned new helipads.
Purple pins: the existing helipads/training bases.
White human icon: Protest sit-in spots.
The area around the icon of a bus is a residential area. There’s a junior high school there too.
You can see that two of the pink pins are very close to the residential area (just 0.25 miles. yikes)
And last but not least, the entire map is just deep deep forests.
What do you think?
Is this part of our unfortunate government’s promise to “reduce the burden” of Okinawan people?
